Iulia is an experienced humanitarian and peacebuilding trainer, with over 6 years of experience in designing and delivering customized training activities for various audiences, from youth to civil society practitioners. She is currently working for the International Center for Migration Policy Development as Project Officer.

She has worked with organizations such as the Peace Action Training and Research Institute of Romania (PATRIR), the International Fellowship of Reconciliation, Musicians without Borders, with a geographical focus on Cyprus, Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bangladesh and others. She holds a MA in National Security Management.

Iulia is a resourceful, multi-lingual and skilled professional with the proven ability to manage large international capacity building programmes and projects in humanitarian and peacebuilding settings, due to exemplary planning and organisational abilities.

She possesses a unique combination of skills and capabilities acquired during studies and work experience, with a wealth of transferable knowledge in humanitarian work, peacebuilding, social media, marketing and communication, fundraising, and business administration, with experience in countries like Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bangladesh, Sierra Leone, Cyprus, and Northern Ireland.

Apart from this, Iulia is experienced in interviewing project beneficiaries or event attendees, filming, editing and subtitling videos, and is generally technologically savvy, a fast learner of new software.

Digital marketing, social media and communication for nonprofits is something she enjoys working on as side aspects of her ongoing work commitments and readily contributes her knowledge to ensure the success and visibility of the organizations she works with.
