I have always been fascinated by international issues which has led me to study a Bachelor in International Relations from the University of Geneva and, then, a Master in International Relations, with a specialization in Foreign Policy and International Security from IBEI. Eager to learn more, I completed another Master in Economics and Business Administration, with a specialization in Finance from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. I believe that, combining the study of international politics, economics and finances permits to form a better understanding of the society we live in and its dynamics.
Since childhood, I’ve been immersed in a multicultural context since my father is Swiss and my mother Spanish. Then, I’ve spent many years travelling: Germany, England, Australia, Brazil or Colombia; so multiculturalism is now part of my DNA. As a result of those voyages, I can now speak 5 languages.
My research interests are related on one hand to security, such as political violence and civil wars, and on the other hand to foreign affairs, such as State relations, economic and commercial international relations, and inter-cultural interactions. My research interests are related on one hand to security, such as political violence and civil wars, and on the other hand to foreign affairs, such as State relations, economic and commercial international relations, and inter-cultural interactions. My area of interest is, on one side, Latin America, where I could confront my personal experience and the theory seen in the Master, and on the other side Middle East where I am captivated by its cultural and its troubled history.
