Dr. Arnold Kammel currently works as General Secretary of the Australian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES), and since 2004 he became research fellow.
Dr. Kammel is also Vice-President of the Atlantic Treaty Association in Brussels, and teaches regularly on security issues and Europe at the University of Applied Sciences in Eisenstadt, as well as the Theresan Military Academy in Wiener Neustadt, Austria. His research covers topics such as European integration, as well as the Government of the EU and transatlantic relations.
Before joining the AIES, he was a research fellow at the Institute of Austrian, European and Comparative Public Law and Political Science at the Karl-Franzens-University of Graz, Austria University.
He studied Law and Political Science in Graz, Vienna and Alcala de Henares (Madrid), and has the degree of Doctor of Law from the University of Graz. He received a Master of Arts in Business at the University of Applied Sciences in Eisenstadt.
