International Security Specialist
Prof. Alfonso Aragón is a graduate of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, California in the USA and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He received specialized academic training in the William Perry Center of Hemispheric Defense Studies (CHDS), at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C.
Alfonso is the academic coordinator of the Diploma on Contemporary Terrorism Studies and currently teaches the Disarmament Course in the Political and Social Sciences School at UNAM. He is an active guest lecturer of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, terrorism, organized crime, and Northeast and Southeast Asia regional studies at international conferences and events.
He has a BA and a MA in International Relations Studies, a MA in International Policy Studies, a Certificate in Nonproliferation Studies and is a Ph.D Candidate in International Relations.
